First off update on the hen : She adopted 15 babies. She's awesome.
Now.
I started a course. I thought I would be super, duper smart and start my course a few days early. I did the required reading - oy - and then continued onto the online course. I was given a link to the 'manual' and realized I could print out the questions and then I could answer them and voila! Study sheets! Right?!
Technically yes. But also no.
I wanted to print pages 9-12. So I pressed my printer button and typed in … pages 9-12. Instead of giving me pages 9-12 it gave me pages 9-12. I realize this is confusing.
In the manual there are pages that are numbered with little Roman number I, ii, iii etc … okay? BUT this printed pages 9-12 in the manual, like literally 9-12. Which … I also needed so not that big a deal. I decided I would just print pages 1-5.
Did it give me pages 1-5?
Technically yes - if I was Roman!
I just wanted pages 1-5. or 9-12 basically the SAME pages but could I get them. NOOOOOOOOOO. I could not. Unless I wanted to print the entire freaking document.
Actually, now that I'm typing this … I guess in the printer preview I could have gone print selected page and done that for each page. I mean I guess I could have …
but did I?
No.
Because … I realized … if I saved the document I could open it in word and just type my answers in there and save my sanity later by printing out the study pages I needed.
But it gets better …
I now have about 40 pages of either 9-12, I-V or some random combination that bewilders me.
I'm also out of black ink.
ALSO - one click later in my study guide and I found that it's already done for me with practice tests, flash cards and a variety of ways for me to study it.
I'm going to read my book. And not my school book.
BAH.
Stomp. Stomp. Stomp.
